POKERWORLD POINTS
PokerWorld Points (PWP) are points awarded to your account for frequent play on the site and are redeemable for entry into selected PokerWorld tournaments or to purchase exclusive PokerWorld merchandise. Not to be confused with bonus bucks received from a deposit bonus. The points you generate also determine your VIP level. PokerWorld Points are calculated based on 'involvement rake', with each player earning a portion of the rake based on the number of players that receive cards.
This means that if you receive cards - you receive points - whether you call the bet or not.
For example, if 10 players receive cards and the total rake for that hand is $2, each player's involvement rake or contribution to the rake will be $0.20.
Players will receive 10 PokerWorld Points for every $1 of involvement rake.
These points will be kept in a separate PokerWorld points account in the cashier?s section. They cannot be transferred or sold.
